Liz joined the In House Design team in January of 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree of Interior Design from Mount Royal University.
She has the natural qualities of a designer – intuitive, creative and forward-thinking; however, her journey into the field of interior design was not a direct path. She began her education in the field of Sociology which at first blush seems like a leap but the two disciplines actually intersect in many ways. This background has given her an excellent foundation for design; sharpening her skills of observation and investigation, and heightening her sensitivity and awareness of the spaces we live in. All of these skills and abilities result in a designer who is able to define and interpret the raw data of a design problem and arrive at a creative solution that addresses both form and function.
Liz has a wealth of experience in front-line customer service. She puts these skills to work at our firm every day whether she is liaising with our clients or providing contractors and industry partners with the feedback and direction they need to execute our design vision. Her relaxed, laidback vibe puts people at ease and her calm demeanour is a welcome addition to the sometimes chaotic pace of our studio.
